Supplemental Calcium
Corn co-products contain high phosphorus levels and low calcium levels. The supplemental calcium in the
Homestead® Co-Product Balancers is important to maximize performance and help reduce instances of uninary calculi(water belly).
Zinc Methionine
Organic zinc methionine is widely recognized for its effect on hoof integrity and is used to help reduce foot problems in cattle.
Iodine
Homestead® Co-Product Balancers contain an organic form of iodine (EDDI) shown to support hoof health.
Yeast
Yeast Culture Concentrate is included in the Homestead® Co-Product Balancers to promote feed intake and feed conversion.
Selenium Yeast
Selenium is added in its natural form. It contains the same range of selenocompounds present in plants — the forms animals are best able to absorb, store, and utilize. Cattle need selenium for disease defense.
Vitamin E
Formulated with Vitamin E to promote an increased shelf life of processed meat product and optimize immune response.
